Hitting things with the nail doesn't do anything to help, either. My question is if the jumping improvements are unlocked later, or I am just failing to see some input? I have only just beaten the 2nd boss, gotten the Thorns of Agony charm and now have arrived at what seems to be a room of thorns with just a bat with armour and a single platform.
